| Coaches assigned by respective NSAs will conduct training for students in primary and secondary schools and assist schools to set up school teams. From 2002-03 onwards, progressive training and a Badges Award Scheme have been introduced under the Programme. Under the Badges Award Scheme, students who meet the standards of individual sports and the indicators for progressive training formulated by the respective NSAs will be awarded certificates as a recognition. The aim of the scheme is to sustain students’ interest in participating in sports and to enhance their skills.
