The 5th Hong Kong Games Jockey Club Vitality Run
The 5th Hong Kong Games Jockey Club Vitality Run
The 5th Hong Kong Games (HKG) Jockey Club Vitality Run (Vitality Run) will be held along the Shing Mun Riverside in Sha Tin on March 8 (Sunday). Participants are encouraged to put on HKG souvenir T-shirts to join the Run showing support to the HKG. Besides, a carnival will be staged at Yuen Wo Playground featuring singing performance by local singers Mag Lam, Alfred Hui and Auston Lam; and other activities such as stage performances, game booths, a family area, a photo corner and etc. Members of the public are welcome to join. Participants should pay attention to the special traffic arrangement which will be implemented in the vicinity at Yuen Wo Road in the morning on the event day. Lunar New Year Lantern Carnivals 2015
The Lunar New Year Lantern Carnivals 2015 will be held from March 5-7 at Hong Kong Cultural Centre Piazza, North District Park and Tung Chung Man Tung Road Park respectively. The carnivals will feature spectacular performances by Shanxi Arts Troupe and local arts groups, folk crafts demonstrations by Guangdong and local masters as well as festive activities such as lantern quiz, etc. Fabulous lantern installations will also be displayed at the three venues. Besides, there will be a “Youth Night” programme to be held from March 6-8 at the above sites respectively. You are welcome to join. Admission is free.

2015 Bun Carnival
Members of the public are welcome to take part in a wide range of activities of the 2015 Bun Carnival to be staged at the soccer pitch of Pak Tai Temple Playground, Cheung Chau, from May 3 to 26. The Bun Scrambling Competition, the finale of the event, will be held from the night of May 25 to the small hours of the following day. Applications for participation in the Competition are open from now till April 2.

"Dunhuang - Untold Tales, Untold Riches"
"Dunhuang - Untold Tales, Untold Riches", the grand finale of a series of exhibitions presented this year by the Hong Kong Heritage Museum, is now opened to the public until March 16. Being the largest of its kind ever held in Hong Kong, the exhibition showcases 120 sets of exhibits, including replica caves, a 13-metre-long statue of the Nirvana Buddha and an extremely rare illustrated sutra written in the Tangut script in China, allowing visitors to appreciate the charm of Dunhuang culture. Treasures from Tsarskoye Selo, Residence of the Russian Monarchs
"Treasures from Tsarskoye Selo, Residence of the Russian Monarchs" is now being staged at the Hong Kong Museum of History until March 16. The exhibition is the largest of its kind ever staged in Hong Kong. Over 200 exquisite items selected from the collections of the Tsarskoye Selo State Museum-Preserve of Russia are on display. These include paintings, costumes, porcelain, works of art and a spectacular carriage. They will give a clearer picture of the history and culture of Russia and, in particular, evidence of the long-lasting exchanges between Russia and China.
