Introduction
After visiting the historical buildings, we understood the significance of heritage conservation. During the YFOH training, we had attended the lectures, field visit, workshops and experience sharing session by Fung Wing Yan, the former member of YFOH. All these activities enhances our knowledge on the work of heritage conservation. The visit to Tang Ancestral Hall and the western buildings in Central District enhances our knowledge on the features of western buildings.
Beside, after the training course, I am more aware of the affairs around myself, including those special buildings which are much related to our daily life. Such knowledge is part of the Liberal Studies which is difficult to learn at schools.
In order to allow teenagers to know more about local heritage and promote the message of heritage conservation, I have taken up the post as a representative of YFOH Website Team in the coming year and to update everyone on the latest information on heritage to all YFOHs.
